L’esprit d’escalier

‘The wit of the staircase’ or l’esprit d’escalier, which in French, means the perfect witty response or quip that one can think of, usually only after the conversation has ended. It could be on the staircase, on the way out of the place, or even a few days later.

Whatever the circumstance, it usually hits one with the lightning bolt clarity with the regard of slapping one’s forehead with the words ‘why didn’t I think of that before?’

Ship Ahoy!

November 11, 2006 at 2:56 am (Entertainment, Travel and Living)

The many things I love about WordPress

November 1, 2006 at 11:37 pm (Miscellaneous Memos)

The many things that I love about WordPress is the fact that it allows me to catch spam comments, gives terrific layouts and is open source.

Naturally, one of the things about WordPress, is that it has nifty functions that tells me who is reading my blog.

So if you are, it is only polite to leave a comment that you stopped by.

I really don’t mind sacrificing traffic for privacy.

If this (referring to visits from you-know-who) keeps up, my posts would just go password-protected hence forth.

I won’t lose any sleep over it.
