In the spirit of ‘I need a holiday, because I am too stressed’, I wish I was in either Australia/ New Zealand or Russia right now.

Because in Oz, its ANZAC day and in Russia, tis nation-wide mourning for Boris Yeltsin.

I had dinner at an Italian place in Bukit Timah, with my friend and an Italian friend.

Normally, I don’t focus on nationality, unless it bears significant importance to behaviourial patterns, and gives bearings to cultural expectations.

Sensationalise my writing?

A comment from my editor about how I should jazz up my writing style a tad bit, just to capture the emotion of the piece.

I am so afraid I can’t do that anymore, without descending into my bad days of purple prose.

I am so used to writing which is pared down. So used to just getting the facts out and so used to using active voice.

Blah, I am a lame duck in this. Though I always aim to please.
