I am so exhausted.
The celebrity I have been trailing is leaving Singapore. *dances and whoops with joy*
It has been a tiring few days. And no offence to the media-savvy celebrity, but I think I have heard his songs played ‘live’, much more than I have heard them on the radio. Granted that the radio stations I listen to, don’t play his music.
I have spoken way more Mandarin in these past few days, than I have done in the same time frame in school.
As a reward, I am going to go and buy Michael Ondaatje’s latest novel, Divisadero, and hole myself up to read it. I reckon I deserve it.
It is not to say the whole celebrity-trailing episode has been bad. I learnt a few things, experienced some highs, and met an incredibly talented Japanese journalist, whom I have utmost respect for.
I just don’t look forward to the post production work I have to do in the office.
